Tēnā tātou e te whānau

The annual Marae Golf Tournament is happening on Saturday 28th February at the Dannevirke Golf Club, and this year all proceeds raised from the tournament will go towards Mākirikiri Marae.

Marae from around the rohe, including Mākirikiri, will be competing against each other, so tell any keen golfers about the tournament and that it’s their chance to grab the win for our Marae.

The tournament kicks off at 11am with a shot gun start. Entry fee is $30 (includes morning tea and a meal) and there are prizes for twos, approaches and long drives.

And if you’re not a golfer any help on the day would be appreciated. If you can’t make it a donation of food for morning tea or the evening meal would be great.
